One of our challenges as voice artists is to be as efficient as we can in converting air pressure into sonic energy inside the voice box.
We need a nice balance of air pressure and fold thickness. Too much air makes the sound forces or blasty. To little air and the sound is weak. Getting it just right is the art of it all.
